Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fatacos's Fábio Leiria started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mário Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fatacos's Humberto Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Nogueira in the 7th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mário Nogueira in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Moutinho saved Fatacos from getting behind. Mário Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Moutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusébio Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Fatacos booed when Bregieira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Fatacos's Joaquim Pedroso broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Diogo Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Mário Nogueira scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Humberto Moutinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fábio Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Andrade having to interfere. A collision led to Bregieira getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Albertino Pacheco hit a great ball. Hugo Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Andrade having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Fábio Leiria kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Andrade. That made the score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. Bregieira's Diogo Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fábio Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Diogo Moreira made the kick off in the second half. Diogo Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Bregieira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Moreira in the 68th minute of play forced Fatacos's goalkeeper Humberto Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bregieira getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Duarte Pinto hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Mário Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bregieira's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Moutinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 80 minutes, Hugo Trindade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fatacos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Trindade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Fábio Leiria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fatacos's supporters rose to their feet, but Fábio Leiria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Fábio Leiria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Andrade was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Daniel Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Trindade in the 88th minute of play.
