The supporters of Cabrela FC booed when SC Vialonga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Moniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes SC Vialonga got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Anjos. In the 10th minute, Carlos Morais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cabrela FC's Henrique Fonseca in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Vialonga's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19th minute of the match Miguel Garcia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Castro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sebastião Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Assunção having to interfere. A collision led to Cabrela FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Álvaro Araújo hit a great ball. Viriato Assunção showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Freitas in the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Sebastião Anjos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Viriato Assunção was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cabrela FC's Carlos Morais got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 minutes of play, SC Vialonga's Sebastião Anjos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viriato Assunção was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
