Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Formigais's Eduardo Pires started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, SC Formigais's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Pinho came free, but Hugo Bessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catarino Faria took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Vaz. Carlos Vaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Hugo Bessa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Catarino Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Vaz having to interfere. When Eduardo Pires came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the SC Formigais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Pires couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the game, Catarino Faria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Carlos Vaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 17 minutes into the match, SC Formigais's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Cruz came free, but Hugo Bessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Jaime Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Henrique Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Bessa came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Bernardos FC's Jorge Pinho. But to his dismay, Jorge Pinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Henrique Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Bessa having to interfere. Filipe Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gonçalo Machado hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Eduardo Pires didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 45th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Eduardo Pires ran dejectedly back to his position. Bernardos FC's Carlos Vaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Bernardos FC from getting a goal against them. SC Formigais's Hugo Bessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Cruz in the 51st minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrique Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaime Leal hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Alberto Nunes, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Jorge Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Eduardo Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Formigais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrique Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Eduardo Pires came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the SC Formigais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Pires couldn't finish the play. Jorge Pinho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hugo Bessa firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 88th minute Eduardo Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Machado in the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of SC Formigais booed when Bernardos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, SC Formigais's Humberto Matias tried to score from far away in the 99th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
