Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Inácio Delgado got the match started through his kick off. Cristóvão Viana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Tavares having to make a save. After 9 minutes, Duarte Trindade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cos and the Gesteira players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cos:s Ricardo Tavares showed great skill when he stopped Henrique Pereira:s penalty. Manuel Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Manuel Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Tomás Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Francisco Lisboa sped through Gesteira's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Neves. Ricardo Tavares didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After 33 played minutes Gesteira got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Ribeiro. If Francisco Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Gesteira's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Lisboa came free, but Manuel Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gesteira booed when Cos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Marques in the 45th minute of play forced Gesteira's goalkeeper Manuel Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Delgado struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Ricardo Tavares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gesteira.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Óscar Faro during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Gesteira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Faro to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Moniz's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Manuel Neves - 1-2 was put on the score board in the 54th minute. Diamantino Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Neves having to interfere. Tomás Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Neves having to make a save. After 62 played minutes Cos got a freekick which was hit by Américo Borges. Ricardo Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Delgado in the 64th minute of play. Cos's Ricardo Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Delgado in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Francisco Lisboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cos's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Lisboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Macedo during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gesteira getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Domingos Macedo hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, Inácio Delgado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ricardo Tavares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Inácio Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Tavares having to interfere. During the 82nd minute of the match Américo Borges completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Américo Borges a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 83rd match minute, Cos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Borges to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Viana in the 84th minute of play forced Cos's goalkeeper Ricardo Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Inácio Delgado sped through Cos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Tavares.
