Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vítor Gonçalves started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Bernardo Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 3 minutes, Alfredo Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Salemas's Daniel Nunes in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vinhas's goalie prevented a goal. Vítor Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristóvão Trindade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Bessa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cristóvão Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Salemas's goalkeeper Viriato Coelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Américo Ferro. Miguel Campos charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Campos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eusébio Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Viriato Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viriato Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusébio Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Gonçalves in the 32nd minute of play forced Vinhas's goalkeeper Cristóvão Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Nunes struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Cristóvão Trindade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salemas. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Ferro during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Francisco Ferro hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Vítor Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Eusébio Cardoso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Viriato Coelho, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Cardoso to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Salemas getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hugo Teixeira hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Salemas defense, Eusébio Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viriato Coelho. The Salemas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viriato Coelho should have stopped the shot. After 58 played minutes Salemas got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Gonçalves. Eusébio Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eusébio Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Salemas's Bruno Bessa got a free kick in the 64th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Vinhas's Alfredo Amorim tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Américo Ferro charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Américo Ferro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vinhas's Américo Ferro got a free kick in the 67th minute. Cristóvão Trindade stood somewhat misplaced when Daniel Nunes came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 68 minute. Filipe Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Daniel Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Gonçalves in the 75th minute of play. Daniel Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cristóvão Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Américo Ferro came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Vinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Américo Ferro couldn't finish the play. Viriato Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute Eusébio Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salemas's Viriato Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Cardoso in the 94th minute of play. If Américo Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinhas's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
