Ifanes's Viriato Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Pacheco in the 9th minute of play. Bento Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12thth minute of the game Bento Oliveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ifanes's Viriato Viegas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Jesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Branco in the 16th minute of the match. Sérgio Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Sérgio Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ifanes's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Jesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Pacheco in the 23rd minute of play forced Ifanes's goalkeeper Viriato Viegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Ifanes's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Oliveira came free, but Viriato Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Afonso Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afonso Branco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sérgio Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Jesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Branco in the 55th minute of the match. Paulo Jesus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso Branco's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When Sérgio Luz came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ifanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Luz couldn't finish the play. Bento Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viriato Viegas having to make a save. Bento Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 played minutes Ifanes got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Borges. Emílio Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pernelhas FC's goalkeeper Paulo Jesus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pernelhas FC's Afonso Campos got a free kick in the 80th minute. Ifanes's Sérgio Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bento Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Bento Oliveira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Viriato Viegas. The goal made the score 0-2. The Pernelhas FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
