Diogo Oliveira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Diogo Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Bafareira's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Bento Oliveira scored to the left of an out of position Emanuel Amaral, making the score, 1-0. If Armindo Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armindo Costa in the 23rd minute of play forced Pernelhas FC's goalkeeper Paulo Jesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogo Oliveira in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Jesus saved Pernelhas FC from getting behind. Paulo Jesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Oliveira in the 26th minute of the match. When Armindo Costa came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the SC Bafareira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armindo Costa couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armindo Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Pernelhas FC's zone, Diogo Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Jesus came out of the goal and Diogo Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diogo Oliveira got free with Paulo Jesus in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rogério Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Bafareira's protests and gave Rogério Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. 65 minutes into the match, Armindo Costa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulo Jesus, 1-2. Paulo Jesus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armindo Costa's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The Pernelhas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Bafareira were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
