Emílio Pacheco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Pernelhas FC's Bento Oliveira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucas Viegas. Lucas Viegas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Lucas Viegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Paulo Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomás Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Cabral made a kick off. Paulo Jesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Cabral in the 57th minute of the match. In the 62ndth minute of the game Mariano Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pernelhas FC's Paulo Jesus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emílio Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Lucas Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Viegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Oliveira in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Bento Oliveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Viegas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A collision led to Pernelhas FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cristiano Pereira hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Pernelhas FC's goalkeeper Paulo Jesus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Matias. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Cabral in the 98th minute of play forced Pernelhas FC's goalkeeper Paulo Jesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
