Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rafael Santos took the kick off in the first half of the match. SC Acafora's Nuno Assunção played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Catarino Teixeira in the 7th minute of play. If Álvaro Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alfredo Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Gustavo Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Guaritas FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Joaquim Melo hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, SC Acafora's José Leiria broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Catarino Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Nuno Assunção didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaritas FC. If Álvaro Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Álvaro Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Acafora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute of the match Eduardo Cabral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Cabral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gustavo Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Cabral having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, SC Acafora's goal looked a bit too open when Catarino Teixeira came free, but Nuno Assunção reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Joaquim Melo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Catarino Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Nuno Assunção made a huge save. Gustavo Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Alfredo Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Gaspar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Cabral having to make a save. António Pinheiro hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The supporters of Guaritas FC booed when SC Acafora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 95th minute, Álvaro Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Cabral. Guaritas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. SC Acafora were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
