Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rui Cardoso started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, SC Seixal's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Simões came free, but Henrique Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Assis took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrique Borges. Henrique Borges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. SC Seixal's Henrique Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Simões in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, SC Seixal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Queirós to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, SC Seixal's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Simões came free, but Henrique Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Borges having to interfere. David Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Assis in the 29th minute of the match. Júlio Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Henrique Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bassar FC's Rui Paredes got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Moniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Cardoso in the 42nd minute of the match. Júlio Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Borges having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandro Simões to make the kick off. In the 57th match minute, Bassar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bassar FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Rui Paredes hit a great ball. Sandro Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Borges having to interfere. If Rui Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Henrique Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Seixal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Moniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Cardoso in the 73rd minute of the match. João Carvalho made a great header on SC Seixal's corner, it was just that Bassar FC's David Moniz managed to reach the ball for a save. Sandro Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Borges having to interfere. If Júlio Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Amorim during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes SC Seixal got a freekick which was hit by Armando Amorim. 91 minutes into the match, Bassar FC's Emílio Luz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 93 minutes into the game, Joaquim Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bassar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Seixal the free kick. In the 93rd minute, one of Bassar FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bassar FC. The referee gave SC Seixal a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by João Carvalho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bassar FC's David Moniz. 2-1. Tomás Ferreira hit a great freekick 100 minutes into the match. João Carvalho, 101 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
