Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amadeu Paiva took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pedro Trindade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Assis, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Hugo Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Malhadais's Hugo Abreu got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Amadeu Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Trindade having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Vicente Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Malhadais and the SC Mea players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vicente Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Lourenço Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Malhadais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Mea the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of SC Malhadais:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Mea:s goal. The goalkeeper, João Faria, was totally fooled by SC Mea's Sebastião Rocha, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Daniel Matos came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the SC Malhadais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Matos couldn't finish the play. A collision led to SC Malhadais getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Sérgio Nunes hit a great ball. João Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Paiva in the 33rd minute of play. If Amadeu Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Mário Assis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Trindade. SC Mea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mário Assis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Lourenço Amorim hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Mário Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mário Assis to make the kick off. Mário Assis struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Pedro Trindade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Malhadais. 55 minutes into the match, SC Mea's goalkeeper Pedro Trindade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mário Assis. Amadeu Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes SC Malhadais got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Nunes. João Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Trindade having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Malhadais's Sérgio Nunes got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Alexandre Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Paiva in the 87th minute of play. Amadeu Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Faria having to interfere. Alexandre Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. João Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Mea were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Malhadais for a fine match.
