Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Gaviao's Emanuel Vaz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Albertino Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gabriel Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Pinto got free with Joaquim Azevedo in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, SC Gaviao's goal looked a bit too open when Óscar Carneiro came free, but Gabriel Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Albertino Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Pinto in the 20th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Emanuel Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Lajido's Joaquim Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SC Lajido's Albertino Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Óscar Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, SC Gaviao's goal looked a bit too open when Albertino Gaspar came free, but Gabriel Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albertino Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ribeiro having to interfere. If Albertino Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Emanuel Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Gaviao's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeu Assunção hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. SC Lajido's José Moreira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. Gabriel Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertino Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Emanuel Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Ribeiro was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Albertino Gaspar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albertino Gaspar really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Albertino Gaspar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Ribeiro. That made the score 0-2 in the 67 minute of play. The supporters of SC Gaviao booed when SC Lajido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeu Assunção, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Joaquim Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Emanuel Vaz came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the SC Gaviao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Vaz couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SC Lajido booed when SC Gaviao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Óscar Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertino Macedo charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albertino Macedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gaviao's zone, Óscar Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Ribeiro came out of the goal and Óscar Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Albertino Gaspar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gabriel Ribeiro. The goal made the score 1-3. When the match was over SC Lajido could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Gaviao throughout the match.
