In the 4th match minute, SC Redouca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Borges to maneuver through the defense. Gil Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ricardo Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 minutes, Daniel Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Redouca and the Murtinheira players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Daniel Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Bruno Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Machado went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Alexandre Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Amaro struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Pedro Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Redouca. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gonçalo Borges charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonçalo Borges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes SC Redouca got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Borges. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Pedro Machado sped through SC Redouca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Azevedo. SC Redouca's Ricardo Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Maia in the 63rd minute of play. Pedro Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ricardo Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Redouca's João Delgado got a free kick in the 70th minute. Daniel Anjos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ricardo Azevedo. SC Redouca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bruno Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Azevedo having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Bruno Maia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Murtinheira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Viriato Machado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Maia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Alexandre Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Maia having to interfere. After 92 minutes of play, Murtinheira's Bruno Maia made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Viriato Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Redouca players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Murtinheira.
