Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manuel Borba kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Vieira got free with Carlos Leão in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Ral's Carlos Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save SC Ral from getting a goal against them. When David Viegas fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Ral's protests and gave David Viegas a yellow card for diving instead. David Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Mário Dantas hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the SC Ral defense, Bruno Vieira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Leão. The SC Ral fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Leão should have stopped the shot. If Manuel Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Borba in the 16th minute of play forced SC Ral's goalkeeper Carlos Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Carlos Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Leão having to interfere. A collision led to SC Ral getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Fernando Pedroso hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Bruno Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estivadas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Mário Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Veiga having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Estivadas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Dantas came free, but Rodrigo Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Luz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 39 minutes, Diamantino Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estivadas FC and the SC Ral players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Estivadas FC got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Queirós. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Estivadas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernando Barbosa was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Ral's players had a chance to rest. Bruno Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mário Dantas in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute, Fernando Domingues made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Veiga. Estivadas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Domingues was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of SC Ral booed when Estivadas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Mário Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Ral's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Borba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. If Fernando Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Vieira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Leão having to make a save. In the 62nd minute, Estivadas FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mário Dantas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rodrigo Veiga made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Mário Dantas sent off a good shot on target. Estivadas FC's Rodrigo Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Domingues in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Domingues in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Veiga saved Estivadas FC from getting behind. Manuel Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Leão having to interfere. SC Ral's Carlos Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Borba in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Borba in the 80th minute of play forced SC Ral's goalkeeper Carlos Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SC Ral getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. David Viegas hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Bruno Vieira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A collision led to Estivadas FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Diamantino Queirós hit a great ball. After 91 minutes, Vítor Luz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estivadas FC and the SC Ral players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Estivadas FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Luz. 92 minutes into the match, SC Ral's Fernando Barbosa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
