Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David Amaro took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Messegaes's zone, Nuno Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Brás came out of the goal and Nuno Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Amaro in the 7th minute of play forced SC Messegaes's goalkeeper Filipe Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Figueiredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Filipe Brás made a huge save. In the 16th minute, Delfim Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the game, Basílio Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ariero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Messegaes the free kick. The supporters of SC Messegaes booed when Ariero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Lucas Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Delfim Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Messegaes's supporters rose to their feet, but Delfim Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SC Messegaes's Alexandre Ferreira got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Lucas Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Delfim Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Martins. Ariero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. David Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 46 minutes into the match, Ariero FC's Nuno Figueiredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filipe Brás narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delfim Almeida to strike the kick off in the second half. Ariero FC's Nuno Figueiredo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Delfim Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Brás having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Figueiredo in the 69th minute of play forced SC Messegaes's goalkeeper Filipe Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Delfim Almeida got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 79 played minutes Ariero FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Ferreira. If Nuno Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Brás having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Filipe Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filipe Brás stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Amaro's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
