The SC Olival fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Mota should have stopped the shot. Fábio Mendes hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Gonçalo Dantas scored 1-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Mota, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the game, Armando Valente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Olival's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orbacem FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of SC Olival:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Orbacem FC:s goal. The referee gave Orbacem FC a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Heitor Barros, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Olival's Rui Mota. 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filipe Gonçalves to make the kick off. When Emanuel Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Orbacem FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Pinho couldn't finish the play. A collision led to SC Olival getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Filipe Matias hit a great ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Daniel Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Olival's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Veiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingos Antunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Gonçalo Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Pinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Rui Mota made a huge save. Daniel Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Domingos Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Mota having to interfere.
