A collision led to Tabuas getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Joel Andrade hit a great ball. When Hélder Borba came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Monsarros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hélder Borba couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Tabuas's Bruno Jesus got control of the ball when Hélder Borba tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee showed João Macedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Monsarros got a freekick which was hit by João Macedo. Lourenço Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Viegas in the 93rd minute of the match. Rui Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lourenço Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
