Adelino Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Anjos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílcar Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Teixeira having to interfere. Adelino Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Anjos in the 35th minute of the match. Álvaro Miranda hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the game, Miguel Henriques landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 45 minutes into the game, Álvaro Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alcarraques FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrapatelo FC the free kick. Álvaro Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Carrapatelo FC booed when Alcarraques FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Bessa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Rocha went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. José Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carrapatelo FC's Marco Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonso Anjos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino Teixeira having to make a save. Humberto Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Rocha in the 82nd minute of the match. Adelino Teixeira was a little too slow when Afonso Anjos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-3. Carrapatelo FC's Adelino Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Carrapatelo FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 91 minutes, Amílcar Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcarraques FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílcar Assunção was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Resende during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Alcarraques FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carrapatelo FC:s goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alcarraques FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
