Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Teixeira got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Mendes in the 2nd minute of play forced Barreira's goalkeeper Vítor Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes in the game, Alexandre Mendes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vítor Machado having to interfere. In the 7th minute, one of Brogal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brogal. With a little luck, Barreira's Vítor Machado got control of the ball when Júlio Anjos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bernardo Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Barreira's Duarte Monteiro in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brogal's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Mendes in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vítor Machado saved Barreira from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Vítor Machado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Júlio Anjos came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Brogal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Anjos couldn't finish the play. Júlio Anjos let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 30th minute shot 1-1 at rihgt post. Brogal's Bernardo Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Teixeira in the 45th minute of play. Bernardo Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Alexandre Mendes made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Júlio Anjos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Vítor Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Duarte Monteiro notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Brogal's Bernardo Carneiro. Bernardo Carneiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Barreira's Nuno Lisboa got a free kick in the 60th minute. Daniel Teixeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Carneiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Teixeira ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Teixeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Carneiro having to make a save. Bernardo Carneiro came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Barreira's Duarte Monteiro. But to his dismay, Duarte Monteiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 80th minute, Daniel Teixeira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The long shot by Francisco Figueiredo in the 87th minute really tested Bernardo Carneiro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Barreira booed when Brogal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Mendes in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vítor Machado saved Barreira from getting behind.
