Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Brás started the match with the kick off. If Paulo Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Trindade having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Galhardo FC's Inácio Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Trindade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Brás in the 15th minute of the match. If Joaquim Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 29 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Marinheiros FC's Joaquim Pinheiro fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 30th minute Paulo Brás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Galhardo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Alves to maneuver through the defense. In the 41stth minute of the game Paulo Brás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galhardo FC's Paulo Correia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joaquim Pinheiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Pinheiro in the 46th minute of play forced Galhardo FC's goalkeeper Paulo Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Joaquim Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute Paulo Brás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Galhardo FC's Alexandre Antunes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Trindade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tiago Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Paulo Correia was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Paulo Brás capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Brás really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Joaquim Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
