Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Artur Gueifão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Paulo Correia made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Goulinho's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Santos came free, but Eusébio Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Pires having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Filipe Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Artur Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Paulo Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rodrigo Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goulinho's protests and gave Rodrigo Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Goulinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Amorim to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Galhardo FC's Paulo Correia got control of the ball when Artur Gueifão tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42ndth minute of the game Alexandre Antunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goulinho's Eusébio Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodrigo Amorim was shown his second yellow card after 48 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 50th minute of the match Vasco Barbosa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusébio Pires skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artur Gueifão to make the kick off. Galhardo FC's Paulo Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Gueifão in the 56th minute of play. Goulinho's Eusébio Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Antunes in the 58th minute of play. Filipe Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Goulinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Gueifão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Alexandre Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Gueifão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galhardo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rui Brito was slow to take the kick. During this time Goulinho's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Goulinho's corner Rui Brito fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulo Correia quite easily take care of the ball. If Filipe Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Galhardo FC booed when Goulinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Galhardo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Galhardo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
