Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Edroso's Filipe Pinto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Bento Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, SC Edroso's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Pereira came free, but Gonçalo Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, SC Padrao's Manuel Pereira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonçalo Tavares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 16th minute Filipe Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filipe Pinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filipe Tavares having to make a save. After 28 minutes, Afonso Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Padrao and the SC Edroso players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Edroso booed when SC Padrao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match António Morais shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filipe Tavares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of SC Edroso booed when SC Padrao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bento Teixeira's late challenge caught a SC Edroso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bento Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Edroso booed when SC Padrao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bento Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Rui Cabral could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Filipe Tavares however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the SC Padrao defense, Rui Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filipe Tavares. The SC Padrao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filipe Tavares should have stopped the shot. If Rui Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Pereira was the one to do the kick off. Paulo Maia hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The supporters of SC Padrao booed when SC Edroso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filipe Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Pinto in the 59th minute of the match. Filipe Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Pinto in the 65th minute of play. Bento Teixeira in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gonçalo Tavares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. SC Padrao's Filipe Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Pinto in the 70th minute of play. Rui Cabral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filipe Tavares having to make a save. SC Edroso's Gonçalo Tavares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save SC Edroso from getting a goal against them. If Gaspar Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, SC Padrao's Manuel Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gonçalo Tavares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 88 minutes into the game, Manuel Pereira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gonçalo Tavares. Manuel Pereira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3.
