A collision led to SC Padrao getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Afonso Garcia hit a great ball. Filipe Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Afonso Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Padrao's protests and gave Afonso Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Afonso Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match Óscar Simões shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filipe Tavares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Bagueixe fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Bagueixe's Adolfo Vieira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joaquim Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Filipe Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute of the match Adelino Lopes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filipe Tavares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Pereira in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Moutinho saved Bagueixe from getting behind. Daniel Leal might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filipe Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Leal ran back to his position shaking his head. Filipe Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Leal in the 36th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes SC Padrao got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Garcia. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Vieira in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Tavares saved SC Padrao from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in SC Padrao's zone, Daniel Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Tavares came out of the goal and Daniel Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute, Daniel Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bagueixe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Adolfo Vieira made the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Bento Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bagueixe's Fernando Moutinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Leal might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filipe Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Leal ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Vieira in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Tavares saved SC Padrao from getting behind. Daniel Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, SC Padrao's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Vieira came free, but Filipe Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipe Tavares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adolfo Vieira's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bagueixe's zone, Afonso Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Moutinho came out of the goal and Afonso Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the game, Daniel Leal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Filipe Tavares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute Adolfo Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Padrao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Vieira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The SC Padrao supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bagueixe's performance. The match ended with a win for Bagueixe.
