In the 26th minute, SC Tozeiro's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xavier Nogueira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Nuno Baptista managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when SC Eixes's Xavier Nogueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristiano Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Eixes's Abel Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Bessa in the 44th minute of play. Ricardo Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes SC Eixes got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Queirós. After taking down the ball on SC Tozeiro's corner Fernando Simões fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Abel Miranda quite easily take care of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Bessa made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Sérgio Oliveira had to leave the field with a concussion. After a rather tough play, SC Eixes's Joel Assis got a free kick in the 54th minute. Nuno Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuno Baptista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xavier Nogueira went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Abel Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Melo in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Sousa in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Baptista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 65 minutes, Xavier Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Eixes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Tozeiro's Nuno Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Nogueira in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to SC Tozeiro getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. António Neves hit a great ball. Viriato Bessa kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Nuno Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Queirós got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 95 played minutes SC Eixes got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Queirós. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Eixes had won after a very even match.
