André Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Almeida having to interfere. Filipe Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Adega got a freekick which was hit by Simão Aleixo. Alexandre Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Oliveira in the 14th minute of the match. Menexas FC's Alexandre Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Valente in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Menexas FC's Alexandre Faro got control of the ball when Daniel Assunção tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Valente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexandre Faro was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. If Daniel Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Valente in the 32nd minute of play forced Menexas FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Raul Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Valente in the 40th minute of play. Emanuel Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Adega's zone, Heitor Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Almeida came out of the goal and Heitor Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Adega's Emanuel Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Adega from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Gomes in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Almeida saved Adega from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Oliveira during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Adega getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bruno Oliveira hit a great ball. Alexandre Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Faro having to interfere. Alexandre Valente struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Alexandre Faro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adega. The supporters of Menexas FC booed when Adega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Aleixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Valente during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandre Valente hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Daniel Assunção took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Faro. Alexandre Faro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Alexandre Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alexandre Valente came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Adega fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Valente couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Daniel Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adega's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Assunção was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Faro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Daniel Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes Adega got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Carneiro. Daniel Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alexandre Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Adega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Moutinho to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Adega had won after a very even match.
