Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Gaspar Marques came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Gavieira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Marques couldn't finish the play. In the 4th minute Gaspar Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13thth minute of the game Gaspar Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Penaceira's Daniel Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gaspar Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Gaspar Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th match minute, Gavieira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Gavieira FC's goalkeeper Manuel Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viriato Garcia. If Viriato Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Ricardo Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gavieira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Ricardo Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, SC Penaceira's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Marques came free, but Daniel Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Penaceira's Francisco Araújo got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute, SC Penaceira's Alexandre Oliveira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaspar Marques was the one to do the kick off. Viriato Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Araújo's late challenge caught a Gavieira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Araújo helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes SC Penaceira got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Araújo. Ricardo Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Machado having to interfere. Viriato Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th match minute, Gavieira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Gavieira FC's Manuel Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Garcia in the 74th minute of play. Nuno Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Machado having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Nascimento during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nuno Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Alexandre Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Manuel Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, SC Penaceira's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Marques came free, but Daniel Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
