Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gaspar Moniz made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 played minutes Montevil FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Neves. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Ferro in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucas Andrade made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Jaime Neto sent off a good shot on target. SC Cardiellos's Lucas Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save SC Cardiellos from getting a goal against them. Gaspar Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Valente having to interfere. Jaime Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lucas Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Bernardo Ferro put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lucas Andrade. Adelino Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Moniz in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Valente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rui Ferro came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the SC Cardiellos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Ferro couldn't finish the play. Rui Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Marco Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Ferro in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Ferro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Montevil FC's Carlos Neves got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Gaspar Moniz succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. If Gaspar Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Ferro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Marco Valente made a huge save. Fernando Guerreiro charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Guerreiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, SC Cardiellos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Guerreiro to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Melo during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. António Melo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes, Montevil FC's Domingos Pacheco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucas Andrade came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montevil FC reached it. In the 85th minute Bernardo Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Andrade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Neto went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. SC Cardiellos's Rui Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Cardiellos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Montevil FC.
