Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Pedroso started the match with the kick off. Nuno Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Montevil FC's Jaime Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Ferro in the 7th minute of play forced Tremes FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Ferro scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduardo Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaime Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Carlos Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montevil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tremes FC's Eduardo Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Paiva in the 20th minute of play. Eduardo Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Ferro succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. After a rather tough play, Tremes FC's Filipe Pedroso got a free kick in the 29th minute. Montevil FC's David Paiva couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tremes FC. Tremes FC's Eduardo Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Neto in the 39th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Tremes FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Martins. In the 45th minute, Afonso Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Ferro to strike the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Ferro in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Cristóvão Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Valente. Montevil FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristóvão Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When Carlos Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tremes FC's protests and gave Carlos Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Barbosa hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, David Paiva sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tremes FC's Eduardo Carvalho didn't even have to move. Jaime Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Eduardo Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Pedro Pedroso struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Marco Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tremes FC. In the 81st minute, Carlos Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tremes FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Bernardo Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Montevil FC's zone, Pedro Pedroso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Valente came out of the goal and Pedro Pedroso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Montevil FC's Carlos Neves got a free kick in the 95th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
