Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rafael Nascimento started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Nascimento in the 14th minute of play forced Arnozelo's goalkeeper Vicente Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Machado might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Simões. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristiano Machado ran back to his position shaking his head. Abegoaria FC's João Resende shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vicente Azevedo but with some difficulty. 25 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rafael Simões was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristóvão Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Simões read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Joaquim Andrade hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes, Jacinto Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abegoaria FC and the Arnozelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacinto Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Arnozelo's Vicente Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Nascimento in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Abegoaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Machado came free, but Rafael Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipe Pereira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Azevedo having to make a save. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arnozelo's goalkeeper Vicente Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristóvão Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Simões having to interfere.

Vicente Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Arnozelo got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Cardoso. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arnozelo's goalkeeper Vicente Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Filipe Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Filipe Pereira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Azevedo. Arnozelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filipe Pereira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 76 minutes into the game, Abegoaria FC's Filipe Pereira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Vítor Moura got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 84th minute, one of Abegoaria FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Abegoaria FC. Cristóvão Barros's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Rafael Simões skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Filipe Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Jacinto Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vicente Azevedo came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Abegoaria FC's Filipe Pereira. But to his dismay, Filipe Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Abegoaria FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arnozelo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
