After 60 played minutes Murganhal FC got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Leão. Thanks to some nice moves Gonçalo Magalhães could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Adolfo Araújo however easily saved by the left post. Gonçalo Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Adolfo Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murganhal FC. One of Murganhal FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Escoura:s goal. Cláudio Pinheiro walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
