SC Ameais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Guarda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, David Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sérgio Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Guarda in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albertino Pinto made a kick off. A collision led to Argande getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Marco Rocha hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Argande's goalkeeper Sérgio Matias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Guarda. In the 60th minute, Albertino Pinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If David Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If David Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Ameais's goalkeeper Cristiano Monteiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Ameais's Cristiano Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Torres in the 96th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
