Viriato Vaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute Cláudio Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viriato Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Macedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Macedo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Paredes saved Mazouco FC from getting behind. Antes FC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Mazouco FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Júlio Esteves took the corner. The corner led Antes FC's Júlio Esteves to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Paredes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 57th match minute, Mazouco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Leão to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Antes FC booed when Mazouco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armindo Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Faria in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viriato Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
