Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Leal kicked off to start the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Burguete FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Montouro:s goal. The goalkeeper, Raul Mendes, was totally fooled by Montouro's Pedro Veiga, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jaime Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 20 minutes, Augusto Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burguete FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Montouro's goalkeeper Rui Moniz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sandro Magalhães hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Raul Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Jaime Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montouro's Rui Moniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Mariano Viana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raul Mendes skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Montouro booed when Burguete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Montouro's Pedro Veiga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 36 minutes into the game, André Carneiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burguete FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montouro the free kick. After 36 played minutes Burguete FC got a freekick which was hit by André Carneiro. Raul Mendes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pedro Veiga. 41 minutes into the match, Jaime Leal notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Montouro's Rui Moniz. Rui Moniz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raul Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Ferro was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Burguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Coelho came free, but Raul Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montouro's Alberto Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Coelho in the 55th minute of play forced Burguete FC's goalkeeper Raul Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rui Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Burguete FC defense, Alberto Ferro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raul Mendes. The Burguete FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Mendes should have stopped the shot. When Rui Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Montouro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Coelho couldn't finish the play. Jaime Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Moniz having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Alberto Ferro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Veiga charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Veiga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, Montouro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Magalhães hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Rui Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Mendes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Augusto Fontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Moniz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Cândido Mota was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montouro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burguete FC the free kick. In the 91st minute, Cândido Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Augusto Fontes fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Rui Moniz. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Burguete FC's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. Montouro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Jaime Leal scored to the left of an out of position Rui Moniz, making the score, 3-2. Augusto Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Montouro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Burguete FC for a fine match.
