Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Álvaro Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Carneiro having to interfere. Paulo Antunes's late challenge caught a SC Bolas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes Espinhel FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Antunes. Artur Torres took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristiano Carneiro. Espinhel FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Daniel Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espinhel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristóvão Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Moura got free with Cristóvão Torres in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute, Álvaro Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristiano Carneiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mariano Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Espinhel FC's Delfim Abreu got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Mariano Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cristiano Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Espinhel FC's zone, Artur Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Carneiro came out of the goal and Artur Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Álvaro Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristiano Carneiro having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Espinhel FC's zone, Mariano Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Carneiro came out of the goal and Mariano Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Daniel Moura came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Espinhel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Moura couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Abreu was the one to do the kick off. SC Bolas's Cristóvão Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Abreu in the 52nd minute of play. Cristóvão Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Torres having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, SC Bolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, José Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Espinhel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Sousa came free, but Cristiano Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Carneiro came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Bolas's Mariano Fonseca. But to his dismay, Mariano Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Cristiano Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Sousa in the 78th minute of play. Mariano Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Carneiro having to interfere. Cristóvão Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Daniel Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cristóvão Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 98 minutes of play, Espinhel FC's Cristiano Abreu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristóvão Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Bolas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
