When Emanuel Gueifão fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Francelos FC's protests and gave Emanuel Gueifão a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Francelos FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Emanuel Gueifão hit a great ball. Miguel Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Duarte Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Francelos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the game, SC Boldrarias's João Ferreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Leite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Miguel Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Manuel Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Ferreira in the 31st minute. A collision led to Francelos FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gil Pacheco hit a great ball. João Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Manuel Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Esteves having to interfere. The referee gave Francelos FC a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joaquim Nunes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Boldrarias's Miguel Esteves. 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sérgio Pereira was the one to do the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Boldrarias fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! In the 64th minute, Joaquim Nunes made a precise shot to the right of Miguel Esteves. SC Boldrarias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. SC Boldrarias's Artur Cardoso suffered a sore thigh after 66 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Emanuel Gueifão was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. Emanuel Gueifão hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. João Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Esteves made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when David Melo sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Francelos FC's zone, João Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Leite came out of the goal and João Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, SC Boldrarias's Raul Maia got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute of the match Francelos FC got a corner. SC Boldrarias's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joaquim Nunes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Joaquim Nunes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Boldrarias's Miguel Esteves did a great save. Gil Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Esteves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. David Melo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Esteves having to make a save. Miguel Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If João Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Boldrarias supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Francelos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Francelos FC.
