Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Leite started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Leite in the 5th minute of play forced Caldas FC's goalkeeper Francisco Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Amadeu Soares fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guifoes's protests and gave Amadeu Soares a yellow card for diving instead. Amadeu Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Luís Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Óscar Amaral made a huge save. In the 11th minute, Pedro Leite made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Correia. Caldas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 16th minute, Lucas Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amílcar Moreira in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Óscar Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Luís Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guifoes's Óscar Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Moreira in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Marco Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guifoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Anjos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Leite took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Correia. Francisco Correia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Amílcar Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Amaral having to interfere. When Luís Viana came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Caldas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Viana couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Guifoes booed when Caldas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Leite during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Guifoes's Pedro Leite got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amílcar Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucas Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute Pedro Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match Miguel Costa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Óscar Amaral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lourenço Alves's late challenge caught a Guifoes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lourenço Alves helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Caldas FC's Lourenço Alves got a free kick in the 59th minute. Óscar Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Moreira in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Valente during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Guifoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Valente to maneuver through the defense. Amadeu Soares was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 66th minute, Amadeu Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Alberto Simões sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guifoes's Óscar Amaral didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Guifoes's zone, Amílcar Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Óscar Amaral came out of the goal and Amílcar Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. After a defensive mix-up in Guifoes's zone, Amílcar Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Óscar Amaral came out of the goal and Amílcar Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 minutes of play, Caldas FC's Luís Viana made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Óscar Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Guifoes players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Caldas FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
