That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. Oliveira Ramos scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Moniz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Lisboa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Adelino Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Moniz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Adelino Ferro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adelino Ferro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Moniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Ferro in the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Adelino Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bizalhaes's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Lisboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to SC Bizalhaes getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Paulo Guerreiro hit a great ball. If Daniel Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertino Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Silva in the 94th minute of play forced Berlengas FC's goalkeeper Rui Lisboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Berlengas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Gaspar to maneuver through the defense.
