Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vicente Matos started the match with the kick off. Amílcar Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Dias having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 8th minute when Amílcar Lima elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, SC Pevidal's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Matos came free, but Cristóvão Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes Louzado FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Matos. Fernando Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Coelho having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Amílcar Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Marco Brás came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the SC Pevidal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Brás couldn't finish the play. Cristiano Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílcar Lima in the 25th minute of the match. Alexandre Gomes's late challenge caught a SC Pevidal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. Marco Brás struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Cristiano Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pevidal. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Louzado FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Dias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristóvão Coelho made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Alexandre Gomes sent off a good shot on target. Bento Moutinho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 36 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Pevidal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! António Carneiro shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After having played for 41 minutes, Fernando Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Louzado FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cristóvão Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Brás to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Pedro Leal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Dias. Louzado FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Leal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Marco Brás was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. SC Pevidal's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rui Moreira struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Cristiano Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pevidal. A collision led to Louzado FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. António Carneiro hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Vicente Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, SC Pevidal's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Tavares came free, but Cristóvão Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marco Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóvão Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Matos in the 94th minute of play. Fernando Tavares struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Cristóvão Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Louzado FC. The SC Pevidal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Pevidal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
