After 7 played minutes SC Noninha got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Leão. António Pedroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Campos in the 13th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Andrade got free with Adelino Amaral in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Noninha's António Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Carvalho in the 23rd minute of play. SC Noninha's Joaquim Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Listoso's Adelino Amaral got control of the ball when Pedro Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. António Pedroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Neves in the 36th minute of the match. Joaquim Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Adelino Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the game, SC Noninha's Joaquim Vieira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adelino Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Eusébio Nogueira hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Filipe Neves might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over António Pedroso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filipe Neves ran back to his position shaking his head. António Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Campos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Pedroso having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Filipe Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Listoso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Andrade struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Adelino Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Noninha. Joaquim Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Amaral having to interfere. Cláudio Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cláudio Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Listoso's Cláudio Soares got a free kick in the 96th minute. After recieving a nice pass, SC Noninha's Afonso Tavares tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
