Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Assanhas's José Antunes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nuno Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Albertino Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertino Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Amorim in the 6th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Castedo FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Antunes came free, but David Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armindo Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes Castedo FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Queirós. In the 26th minute, Miguel Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Assanhas's Albertino Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Amorim in the 28th minute of play. José Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Carneiro having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Fernando Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castedo FC and the Assanhas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Castedo FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Fernando Amaral hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Assanhas's José Antunes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Carneiro. David Carneiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 46 minutes into the match, Assanhas's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Amorim came free, but Albertino Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Amorim made a kick off. Nuno Amorim struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Albertino Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castedo FC. Assanhas's Armindo Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Albertino Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Fernandes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Nuno Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castedo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertino Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albertino Fernandes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Queirós went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Castedo FC defense, José Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Carneiro. The Castedo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Carneiro should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute, Castedo FC's Artur Porto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, José Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Assanhas's supporters rose to their feet, but José Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Assanhas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Castedo FC for a fine match.
