Álvaro Simõess short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Heitor Marques to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Cancinhola's goalkeeper Pedro Borba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Pinto in the 28th minute of the match. Álvaro Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Heitor Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, SC Cancinhola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Borba having to interfere. If Cristiano Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Pinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Borba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Pinto in the 55th minute. Carlos Pinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Pedro Borba made a huge save. 60 minutes into the match, Álvaro Simões notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sezulfe FC's Heitor Marques. Heitor Marques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vítor Ferreira's late challenge caught a Sezulfe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vítor Ferreira helped the player get up and apologised. Heitor Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Paredes in the 66th minute of the match. Domingos Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sezulfe FC's Domingos Barros got a free kick in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sezulfe FC's zone, André Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heitor Marques came out of the goal and André Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Carlos Pinto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SC Cancinhola's Pedro Borba. Pedro Borba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Domingos Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Pinto got free with Pedro Borba in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sezulfe FC's goalkeeper Heitor Marques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Cancinhola were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sezulfe FC for a fine match.
