Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sebastião Aguiar took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 played minutes Sezulfe FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Barbosa. Filipe Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Miguel Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maritenda FC's Américo Coelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Maritenda FC from getting a goal against them. Sebastião Monteiro took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heitor Marques. Heitor Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Carlos Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Américo Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Pinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Américo Coelho having to make a save. Sebastião Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Filipe Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastião Monteiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Américo Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Sezulfe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Monteiro came free, but Heitor Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Filipe Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Moreira hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Heitor Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Monteiro in the 66th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sezulfe FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 74 minutes, Maritenda FC's Pedro Brito got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Heitor Marques. After 81 played minutes Maritenda FC got a freekick which was hit by João Teixeira. In the 82nd minute, Sebastião Aguiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Américo Coelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Maritenda FC booed when Sezulfe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Maritenda FC's Sebastião Monteiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Heitor Marques. Heitor Marques yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. With his leg Heitor Marques managed to avoid a goal in the 98thth minute, when Maritenda FC's Filipe Fontes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Américo Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Aguiar in the 100th minute of the match. The Sezulfe FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Maritenda FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Maritenda FC.
