Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Miguel Tavares took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cristiano Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, SC Canais's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Tavares came free, but Albertino Resende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, João Matias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13thth minute of the game Cristiano Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Canais's Albertino Resende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Ricardo Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Canais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casalito the free kick. In the 14th minute, Ricardo Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xavier Brás blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Oliveira having to make a save. When Filipe Correia fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casalito's protests and gave Filipe Correia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Filipe Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, SC Canais's Mariano Martins got a free kick in the 21st minute. SC Canais's Albertino Resende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Santos in the 24th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, João Matias notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Casalito's Francisco Oliveira. Francisco Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Cristiano Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 minutes, Carlos Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casalito and the SC Canais players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Casalito got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Sá. After a defensive mix-up in Casalito's zone, Xavier Brás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Oliveira came out of the goal and Xavier Brás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Matias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Francisco Oliveira made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Pinho during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Augusto Pinho hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Xavier Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Albertino Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Casalito's zone, João Matias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Oliveira came out of the goal and João Matias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albertino Resende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Santos in the 63rd minute. After 69 minutes of play, Casalito's Cristiano Santos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albertino Resende was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albertino Resende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When João Matias came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the SC Canais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Matias couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Matias in the 85th minute of play forced Casalito's goalkeeper Francisco Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When João Matias came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the SC Canais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Matias couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Casalito's zone, Xavier Brás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Oliveira came out of the goal and Xavier Brás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Oliveira having to interfere. João Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Francisco Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
