Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Paredes started the match with the kick off. Miguel Sá didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Viana went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute of the match Emílio Porto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Sá showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joel Lisboa charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Lisboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Nogueiro booed when Arregaca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Lisboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Hélder Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Nogueiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arregaca FC the free kick. Joel Lisboa didn't quite understand what happened when in the 30 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If João Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Antunes took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Sá. Miguel Sá dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 35th minute, Emílio Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute Eusébio Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Nogueiro's Raul Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paredes in the 46th minute of play. After the first half SC Nogueiro were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the match, Arregaca FC's goalkeeper Miguel Sá had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Viana. João Viana had several of the Arregaca FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Miguel Sá as he didn't even see the shot coming. 58 minutes into the game, Eusébio Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Nogueiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arregaca FC the free kick. In the 58th match minute, SC Nogueiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Antunes to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Anjos during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Eusébio Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Arregaca FC booed when SC Nogueiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Anjos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match João Oliveira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raul Branco skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of SC Nogueiro booed when Arregaca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, João Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Nogueiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusébio Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Sá having to interfere. Raul Branco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Arregaca FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Joel Lisboa hit a great ball. The Arregaca FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Nogueiro's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Nogueiro.
