Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) João Veiga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Óscar Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Óscar Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 played minutes Ceiroco got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Pires. Miguel Cabral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Veiga's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The supporters of Ceiroco booed when Negreda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceiroco's goalkeeper couldn't reach when João Veiga 17 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Óscar Moutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ceiroco. Manuel Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alexandre Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The supporters of Negreda booed when Ceiroco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes, Negreda's David Torres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miguel Cabral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Negreda reached it. Manuel Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Óscar Moutinho to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Ceiroco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Borba to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Aguiar's late challenge caught a Ceiroco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Negreda's Gabriel Aguiar got a free kick in the 55th minute. Manuel Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Alexandre Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino Lisboa kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes, Ceiroco's Bernardo Barbosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexandre Mendes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ceiroco reached it. Miguel Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 played minutes Negreda got a freekick which was hit by David Paredes. In the 81st minute, Óscar Moutinho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Miguel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Manuel Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Ribeiro in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Cabral saved Ceiroco from getting behind. Ceiroco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
