Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vítor Leão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Rui Maia made a huge save. Rui Pinheiro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Cristóvão Gomes had several of the Clerigos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Rui Maia as he didn't even see the shot coming. Rui Maia made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Cristóvão Gomes sent off a good shot on target. Vítor Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Maia having to interfere. Albertino Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mariano Macedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Machado's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Mariano Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Machado in the 33rd minute of play forced Taveiro FC's goalkeeper Mariano Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Taveiro FC's Vítor Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Albertino Carvalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clerigos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 47 minutes into the game, Inácio Faro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taveiro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clerigos the free kick. The supporters of Clerigos booed when Taveiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute Alexandre Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Alexandre Machado made the kick off in the second half. Rui Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Cristóvão Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vítor Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rui Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertino Carvalho got free with Mariano Macedo in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes in the game, Alexandre Machado fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mariano Macedo having to interfere. Alexandre Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Mariano Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When David Borba fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taveiro FC's protests and gave David Borba a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Clerigos booed when Taveiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Borba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 played minutes Taveiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Figueiredo. Cristóvão Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Clerigos players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Taveiro FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
