André Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lúcio Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lúcio Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Campos in the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Daniel Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teixogueiras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lúcio Castro having to make a save. Rodrigo Vale's late challenge caught a Serrazes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Vale helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Serrazes FC booed when Teixogueiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Dantas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lúcio Castro. The Serrazes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

If Viriato Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Gil Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viriato Campos struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Lúcio Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serrazes FC. The Teixogueiras FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Serrazes FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
