Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rafael Fontes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Joaquim Amaral got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Tapadao FC booed when Tamel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Rafael Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Paulo Brás blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Abreu having to make a save. The attack was good, but when Rafael Fontes in the 12th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Tamel FC's Carlos Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Fontes in the 16th minute of play. Inácio Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Abreu having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Tamel FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Gomes. In the 32nd minute Rafael Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Tamel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Brás came free, but Carlos Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tapadao FC's Rafael Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 1-1 became the score in the 38th minute when Pedro Neves elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Joaquim Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Tamel FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Gomes. Tamel FC's Carlos Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Fontes in the 47th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Lopes during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eduardo Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Rafael Fontes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Abreu was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Joaquim Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Inácio Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Abreu having to interfere. Amílcar Leal's late challenge caught a Tamel FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amílcar Leal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Alberto Assis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tapadao FC's Inácio Antunes didn't even have to move. In the 80thth minute of the game Joaquim Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tapadao FC's Inácio Antunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 82 played minutes Tamel FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Neves. The Tapadao FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Tapadao FC's Rafael Fontes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rafael Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Abreu having to interfere. Eduardo Lopes was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Tapadao FC's Tomás Pereira shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carlos Abreu but with some difficulty. The Tapadao FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
