Oleirita FC's Carlos Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Neto in the 47th minute of play. Cristóvão Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fontes having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Oleirita FC's João Alves couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Breda FC. Gustavo Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Oliveira Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oleirita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliveira Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee ignored Breda FC's protests and gave Rodrigo Vale a yellow card for diving instead. Rodrigo Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of Oleirita FC booed when Breda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
