Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jorge Marques kicked off to start the match. Alexandre Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Setúbal in the 4th minute of the match. If Alfredo Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cais FC's Cristiano Leiria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Marques in the 20th minute of play. Jorge Oliveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Leiria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Alexandre Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Setúbal in the 28th minute of the match. When Cais FC's Alfredo Coimbra in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Lombardos's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Alfredo Coimbra made the kick off in the second half. Adolfo Correia hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Jorge Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cristiano Leiria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Rodrigues came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Cais FC's Fernando Setúbal. But to his dismay, Fernando Setúbal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 68 minutes into the match, SC Lombardos's goalkeeper Alexandre Rodrigues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Setúbal. With a little luck, SC Lombardos's Alexandre Rodrigues got control of the ball when Fernando Setúbal tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jorge Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cais FC's zone, Jorge Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Leiria came out of the goal and Jorge Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Jorge Oliveira made a precise shot to the right of Cristiano Leiria. Cais FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 89th minute, Jorge Marques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristiano Leiria was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 93 played minutes Cais FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Moutinho. Jorge Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Leiria having to interfere. Daniel Moutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Lombardos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cais FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
